Best Time to Visit April to December is ideal for visiting Madagascar when the weather is dry and wildlife sightings are more frequent.



Day 1: Arrive in Antananarivo
  • Meet your in-country representative at the airport

  • Your driver will be waiting at the International Arrival gate with a name sign or logo

  • If the airport is crowded and you cannot locate the driver, approach the Airport Welcome Service for help

  • An announcement can be broadcast for your driver as a rally point

  • In case of emergency, refer to your documents for contact numbers

  • Receive a welcome package including maps and information

  • Transfer to hotel

  • Overnight at hotel


Day 2: Antananarivo to Andasibe
  • Drive eastward through the highlands to Andasibe

  • Stop at Reptiles Park and Mandraka Park to observe endemic chameleons, snakes, and insects

  • Continue to Andasibe and check-in at hotel

  • Enjoy a night walk before dinner to look for nocturnal creatures

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 3: Analamazaotra Reserve
  • Early breakfast followed by a guided rainforest walk

  • Main objective: observe the Indri lemurs and enjoy dawn chorus birding

  • Visit Lemur Island, a refuge for lemurs confiscated from trappers

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 4: Mantadia National Park
  • Visit the 10,000-hectare Mantadia rainforest, about 37km north of Andasibe

  • Spot species like Diadem Sifaka, Black & White Ruffed Lemur, Scaley and Blue-headed Ground Rollers, and colorful frogs

  • Enjoy the lush scenery

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 5: Andasibe to Antananarivo
  • Morning rainforest walk to search for new species

  • Visit the reforestation project by Association Mitsinjo

  • After lunch, drive back to Antananarivo

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 6: Antananarivo to Morondava to Kirindy Reserve
  • Transfer to Ivato Airport for flight to Morondava

  • Drive to Kirindy Reserve, a dry forest habitat

  • Afternoon visit to Kirindy for wildlife viewing

  • Evening night walk to spot dwarf lemurs, chameleons, and giant jumping rats

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 7: Kirindy to Tsingy of Bemaraha
  • Travel north to Bekopaka in 4x4 vehicles

  • Cross the Tsiribihina and Manambolo rivers via local ferry

  • Enjoy scenic bird and wildlife viewing

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 8: Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park
  • Full-day exploration of Petit and Grand Tsingy limestone formations

  • Hike narrow passages, walk on suspended bridges, and observe endemic wildlife

Day 9: Bemaraha to Morondava
  • Return via car ferry pontoon to Belo Sur

  • Stop at 'Baobab Amoureux' and the famous Allée des Baobabs

  • Enjoy photography of Madagascar’s iconic trees

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 10: Morondava to Antsirabe
  • Drive to Miandrivazo, perfect for a lunch stop

  • Continue to Antsirabe, Madagascar's third-largest city

  • Explore the vibrant markets and colonial architecture

  • Dinner and overnight at hotel


Day 11: Antsirabe to Antananarivo and Departure
  • Early morning drive back to Antananarivo (approx. 3 hours)

  • Afternoon guided walking tour of the old city and Rova Palace

  • Farewell dinner

  • Transfer to airport for international departure
